Great Legacy Builders carries insurance, and we will gladly show you proof of it as well as our certifications at your request. We carry general liability (GL) insurance and worker’s compensation.

For permits, we will always secure any that are required before we show up to your property to work. In the state of Massachusetts, not all projects will require a permit. Additionally, different projects will require different permits. We will keep you informed about what is needed for your particular project and make sure that these are obtained and in order before we ever break ground. 

We will always do our best to plan our timeline for project completion accordingly. However, sometimes problems arise once we begin working. A common example of this is when mold is discovered. It often remains uncovered until we go into a space and open things up. This would require more time than initially planned so we can clear up the problem.

Should this situation or another like it occur, we will be sure to communicate with you through it all. We will discuss our recommendations and suggested changes with you prior to taking action, and then we will move forward to complete the work with an updated timeline. 

When choosing a contractor and general contracting team, you should take a close look at their workmanship and customer service. A contracting company that is responsive, courteous, and able to answer all of your questions is always a good sign.

Additionally, you should go with one that has been in business for at least five years or more. Checking the Better Business Bureau and their references can help you find one that stands behind its quality and service.
